Membership in Temple Israel
It is possible to join our congregation as a single member, as a family, or as an associate member. We have established a committee to look at our membership criteria and research the needs of our congregants and potential congregants to insure that we have categories for every aspect of the Jewish community.
Our membership Chairperson, Rob Wainstein 774-2641 or a member of the membership committee will be glad to sit down and talk with you about membership in our community and answer any questions or concerns you may have.
Below is a list of the current dues structure for membership. Our desire is to have anyone who desires membership in our community to be able to do so, regardless of financial ability to meet the basic dues structure. We have an abatement committee who work with anyone who needs assistance or an adjustment in dues.
MEMBERSHIP DUES
Family Membership $960 per year
Single Membership $480 per year
Dues are billed semi-annually. Our fiscal year begins June 1st and ends May 31st. Billings are in June and December. However, payment arrangements can be made with the Treasurer for monthly payments. New members are eligible for graduated dues: 50% Dues first year, 75% Dues second year, Full dues thereafter.
